Using a special affiliate software HTTP links are generated unique to each affiliate. So once you sign up as an affiliate, you get your own unique link. You use this link to do affiliate marketing (which is to direct traffic to the merchant’s website).
When any of this online traffic converts to a lead or sale, you automatically get credit for it and earn a pre-fixed amount (% of sale, fixed amount per lead, etc.)
